Have a 1966 starcraft it has a 1975 GM 120 hp i/0 water cooled what is the best oil to use

I run 15W-50 Mobil 1 in my personal barge,....
I use 15W-40 Shell Rotella T diesel motor oil in the fleet of boats I maintain,...
For the Drive, I prefer Syn-oils of 75W-90,....
I use Mobil 1,....
Merc. Hi-performance is also Syn-oil,... just a pretty color added,...
