1975 Johnson 40hp... lost spark .

Alright, so my 75, 40 hp twin lost spark, I ran it about 5 days ago... just went to take it to the store, and nothing. Ran great last week as it always dose... but im wondering if points are dirty, or bad exciter coil maby? Its been raining for a week, so im thinking damp points, but while im in there id like to check coil... anyone know the resistance specs on it? And ideas are always welcomed... its only covered with its.hood by the way and the dew point has been very high for a week.....
