I recently received for free, a 1976 Trophy boat which came with an 80HP Mercury. Through some research I have concluded that the motor was made in 1975. The motor (serial number 3310324) is missing the distributor cap and plug wires. Does anyone know where I can buy a cap/wire set so that I can begin to determine if the engine is worthwhile to repair? It's been sitting up for, at least, 10 years. Thank you.
