1975 omc crestliner. No spark!!

My dad and I bought this crestliner. We have replaced the battery and coil and solenoid. The engine will turn over, but there is no spark at the coil? Is this a bad wire deal or Wil bad points cause no spark at the coil? Please help!! Trying to get this bad boy on the water before it gets cold.
