1975 omc electric shift outdrive impeller question...

i see on the diy page theres pics of a omc 400 (Below) .. I have a 800 was wondering if its the same to do the impeller on?? and diagrams??

I have a 800

you should have an electric shift drive on a 1975. The 400 and 800 model designations were first introduced in 1978 by OMC

pretty much the same except you have no shift cable, just wires

Oh so the electric shift is its own model?? so it not a 400 or a 800??

Yes, 400 & 800 are mechanical shift models
