1976 402 Mercury 40hp O.B. motor wireing?

I have the motor listed here. I removed it from the boat and failed to mark the wires. It doesn't have a master plug in. I need to know where to hook up the wires. I have several wires in the harness that went to a key and a push button start on dash. This doesn't have to be factory... just needs to work. Anyone with any info on this?

I just want to get it where it will start so I can sell it. I can tell where the battery positive wire goes. But I will need a lot of guess work to find where the others go. I have a harness but the ends are just wires ...no main plug. It has about 7 wires in it. The other end does not go into the control...it goes to a panel. It has a push button and a on and off switch. Thats all I can tell. Still need to know where to hook them. I have no manual of any kind. I can't even find pictures to look at.
