1976 75hp chrysler direction of impeller

would someone possibly know the direction in which to rotate the impeller, if im holding the housing upside down. on my 1976 75hp chrysler ob thanks

Look at the old one that came out.
The new one will go in with the vanes "Bent" in the same direction.

With the lower unit in forward gear, rotate the prop and note which way the shaft turns.

Most engines rotate Counter Clockwise (CCW) looking INTO the power takeoff end. (Looking UP!)
Or CW looking Down.

Think of how a drill normally rotates.

It doesn't matter.It will orient itself as soon as you turn the key to start.
