Working on this engine, 75ELR76D, and it has the same bogging problem that a 70hp did I worked on a year or so ago. There is a service bulletin 1144??? I think that addresses this problem but have lost my copy. Just wondering if it pertains to the 75hp too. I know it sure cured the 70hp. Thanks

So after all my hard work, you lost it huh? :)

Send me your email address via a pm and I'll send you another.

Actually Joe I did. Had a hard drive crash and lost a lot of stuff. I think my mind was in there too because I'm losing it! I'll send you a pm. Wait a minute! I might have lost the info but you lost my email address. Does that make us even?

Bulletin sent. I still have your email address but it's easier to just have you list it.

For the record..... our first emails was on 03/01/12 and pertained to "thrust pads. The last email was on 06/22/12 and pertained to a air leak you finally found behind a carburetor.

Some people have accused me of saving string. :)

I save string. Never know when you have to use it for carb needle valve packing.

I still have my copy and have shared it with other folks having the same problems with the '76 70-75 HP motors. I now store it on a cloud drive, so I can even bring it up on my phone or tablet! I keep against the need to reference it again, I have wandered away from the Johnson/Evinrude world with my current rig.
