Re: 1976 arrow glass Cheetah HELP
well i bought the boat and there are all kinds of wiring problems from the owners before me.
Ultimately it is a good thing to rip out the bad wire and make sure there are only useful wires. it is not easy to do, but you can get control of the wires.
at first i thought it was the solenoids so i put all brand new 1s on it and all i am gettin from them is clicking the motor tilt or the power trim are not moving at all just clickin when i hit the switches so the only thing i could think is bad wiring wat do you think
Could be bad wiring, but since you have a click something is getting there. First I would check your battery... check the voltage as you try to run the trims, if the voltage drops quickly, you likely have a bad battery... take it to an auto part store for checking.
Depending on the type of motor, you can find manuals, and you can try to run the motors more directly, this will help you determine if it is a bad connection in the wiring.
to resolve wiring connections. find every connection, from battery to every switch and fuse, and check for good connection. Sand and use dielectric grease as needed.
