Replacing the Transom in this 14 foot fibreglass boat.
Had to remove a couple hundred staples under the bumper trim holding the top and bottom of boat together. If they have to be replaced, what staple should they be replaced with?
To remove the bumper trim we had to use 2 wood refinishing scrapers and pry it off. If it is cleaned up and lubed will it slide back on or does it have to be forced on over the staples?
I used marine plywood to make a new transom. When I install it in the boat what is the best method of securing it to the fibreglass at the back of boat on inside?
