1976 duracraft floor removal

Looking for advice on how to remove the floor in 1976 duracraft . I'm assuming the foam underneath is water logged and want to completely remove it. The boat seems to way a ton! Does anyone happen to know the dry weight if this boat? Am I wrong in assuming the foam is probably bad? Any advice or info regarding this boat would be greatly appreciated

cant tell from the paint job if the boat is aluminum or fiberglass

if aluminum, remove the screws

if fiberglass, fire up a saw.

I think she's made out of aluminum. If so remove the screws or rivets hold the deck down. Before doing that, raise the bow as high as you can and pull the plug on the stern and let water drain. Cover the boat to keep rain out so it can drain. It won't dry the foam, but deck removal will be a little less sloppy.

To guess at the weight we need more info than just the year since 1976 had more than one model.

The model appears to read 1518BFD I'm not finding much anywhere online. I wish someone knew the weight if the boat so I could weigh it and decided if the foam needs to be pulled

Looking at the 1st picture, the boat has a lot of water in it. Is the plug still in?
