1976 Evinrude 15hp?

Hey guys, I bought a 1976 Evinrude 15 hp today. I currently have a 1984 Evinrude 9.9. Are any parts interchangeable? Such as prop, throttle handle? They look the same other than the 76 has a more low profile hood.. Thank you

Everything except the ignition interchanges.

Ok thx. I thought so but wanted to make sure. Because when you compare part numbers. The numbers aren’t the same.

The main difference is the ignition and the start in gear safety are different. The plastic rope sheave is also different and the ignition. The rope sheave on the 76 has the safety catches on the top. Your 84 will have the safety catches on the side of the sheave. But the spring and the cup are the same.
