1976 Johnson 55HP longshaft, WTB, opinions?

I'm looking at a 1976 Johnson 55hp longshaft outboard for a 1966 LoneStar Del Ray. I have a couple of questions about it. The motor is in the next state and I don't want to waste the gas to see it without your guys opinions. It's a 3 cylinder motor, when I look for that year on google all I see is twin cylinders Johnson's? Is this year a electronic shift? Cause I want to stay away from that all together. Are parts easy to find for this motor?

If that is a 3 cylinder engine it is NOT a 1976. And I can't find a 55hp 3 cylinder listed on BRP website w/o going all the way back to 1969 and that IS an electric shift.

I had a 76' 55hp and it was a two cylinder.
