MY PARK PLUGS ARE BURNING OUT IN MY MOTOR ITS A 1976 JOHNSON SEAHORSE 15HP MODEL #15R76A<br />WHATS WRONG, AND HOW CAN I FIX IT....PLEASE HELP

Your engine uses a points and condensor igntion system that uses energy transfer. Unlike independent points, this one has them connected to a coil under the flywheel that "feeds" the coils mounted on the engine. That motor has to use the Champion UL81C plugs to work correctly.<br /><br />The rest of the engine has to be in good shape and adjustment to run normally. Make sure the thermostat is also bringing the motor up to temperature, about 140 degrees.
