1976 mercury 85 hp no spark

I have a 1976 mercury 85hp that has no spark at the plugs. I have 12 volts at the solinod but nothing at the distributor. Is the powerpack bad? (that is what I call the box on the front that has most of the wires connected to it) At the top of this is a green wire that goes to the coil and it does not have voltage to it but the red wire below it does have 12 volts

It could be the Trigger "Distributor Housing" or the power pack. Both are expensive so I would suggest you go to a dealer and get them to test the Trigger for you.<br /><br />If the trigger fails you will know its the powerpack.<br /><br />TMD
