If you have the TRU-COURSE steering and all you need is the steering cable because the inner cable is starting to frey, you can replace just the inner cable with same size cable from hardware stores. You will need to reuse the metal ends(which I think are stainless) or have new ones made then brazed on instead of crimping.That was the way I repair mine about 15 years ago.
