Hi, I’ve had this boat for over 15 years and engine still runs great. I didn’t have a garage though and it had to survive Wisconsin winters under a heavy tarp. Seats and vinyl flooring and a some electrical work should make it all functional so that is why I’m here. As you can see in the pics demo is going well. Wood appears solid, but I have a question for the forum. There are 4 holes in the floor (round and equally spaced). Are the holes there for a purpose or?.. Do I need to patch before replacing the floor?
will upload pics when able

Pmolsonmus I deleted your question over in the tri-hull topic. Since your boat has a thread going here, I'll see if we can bump this one into action ...

I'm no expert, but if they were there already my guess is they're to help drainage back to the bilge. Not a bad idea, especially if you want occasional access to the secondary - you could put covers on them. Or add a ski-locker while you're in there.

Others know more than I do, so let's hope the bump works.

Well... not getting any follow up on my first post, so I’ll continue. Got the interior cleaned out and will be working on the electrical. Looking to work on the exterior. I power washed the Hull and it cleaned up nicely. (Removed the discoloration on the white and graying) Now trying to bring the shine back, so my next question...After much reading I’m still not sure where to begin. There is absolutely no cracking or lack of smoothness on the surface. Do I need to wet sand, sand, buff, polish, seal to make it shine again?
I have a multi tool, orbital sander, turtle wax buffer. Do I need a real variable speed polisher? Pads, etc...
