I have a 1976 Starcraft Super Sport 16 foot powered by a 1976 70 HP Evenrude that I might sell as I might be purchasing a 21 foot SS. My boat is in good condition but has a soft spot in the floor by the open bow; the transom is in good condition. The motor runs great and shifts well. The boat has average paint for the year and is white with a blue stripe. The interior is worn and could use at least some new seat covers if not all new seats. The trailer is in good condition with nice car size tires. This boat is in original condition and has not been chopped up. I am only the second owner of the boat. Does anyone know what a fair price would be for this boat if I decide to sell it? I will try to add pictures this week.

Knowing the area where you live and some pictures would help. Boat prices vary wildly all over North America. The Pacific Northwest and Canada in particular have much higher prices. In my area that sounds like a $1500-$2500 boat.

If you aren't in a big hurry, I'd put together a really nice looking ad with lots of nice big pictures, plus a video of it driving around out on the water and ask either $2995 or $3500 depending on how crazy you feel and see what happens. The best thing you can emphasize in your ad is TURN KEY. Anything you can do to show that this boat is ready to go will help you.

I find the humor in this because I live in Michigan. You said pictures from last spring, yet the ground is covered in snow still. Must have been one of them 40 degree days when we break the shorts out. LOL
