Ive never worked on this motor but you can normally get all seals out without specialised tools.
If using a screwdriver just be careful to not gouge the housing or especially be careful to not damage the bearings in the vicinity or drop metal parts of seal into gearcase. I put a cloth in the holes while prying/bashing out. You may need a special tool to remove the bearing carrier, depends if its a screw on or not. sometimes you just need to use bolts that screw in and push it out but be sure to only use high tension bolts-very important.

ps posting the motor hp in the title helps readers

Thanks for the reply! Ill keep your tips in mind! I updated the title to eliminate any confusing on HP. My bad I figured the HP /Year model in the title was sufficient. 5577

It may of being understandable for everyone else, but not for serial number illiterate me!
Catching the edge lip of the seal with a small screwdriver always works for me. Then bending it inwards and then working around the edge. Slightly knocking down on the loosened edge side normally flicks up the seized in other side.
