I just did a compression test on my Evinrude but I can't find the compression specs anywhere in the OEM service manual. Here are the reading I got: top-115, middle-119, bottom-130. Does this sound OK??

There is no psi spec, Cougar.

All cylinders should be within 15%. Yours makes that, but just barely.

Do a decarb and measure again. Let us know what you get.

Thanks JB, I've seen compression specs listed in other (non-outboard) motor service manuals so I just figured they would be there...

I'll add a decarb and retest to the list but I'm glassing my new transom this weekend so don't know if I'll get to it real soon...
