Boat info 1977 bayliner admiralty. 21ft. Volvo aq140a / 280 outdrive

How come I cant trim/tilt my motor on water it seems as I set it and look again its immediately back down. or do these electric trims are just up or down?

Took boat out yesterday 20.1 knots 4 adults. 4400rpm max. This tells me I need to do want with the prop pitch?

Im also not sure what pitch prop I have on boat so I cant really know what to do. Im new to boating and so far ive haven't ben doing to good at it.

I used a online prop measure printout AND calculator an I think my prop is 14x15. not sure 100% sure on that but seems right.

Another problem I had is it took me forever to get to 20 knots but once there it stay steady. is this cause by not plaining. and would trimming it help plain it back to my trim question

I know this is a forum, and nobody is inclined to help but I would really appreciate it if you do so. thanks again.

i answered one of my own questions. I have electric tilt which means its just for raising and lowering. not for trimming. since of this would trim tabs be a good investment. would it help anything? im guessing I have settings on a rod on the out drive where it latches I can adjust before going in water.
