The oil line fitting on the top of the trim cylinder broke while I was in the process of replacing the lines. The broken part has a male fitting that screws into the cylinder with a sort of nipple end and the other end is the female threads that the 3/8th flare nut threads into.

Anyway, I poked around some hydrolic fittiings web sites but didn't seee what I needed.
Anyone know what the broken part is called so I can call around and make some sense to the suppliers.

Thanks Jerry. I found a local source for the little nut thing for $7, though it will takes few days to come from the supplier, but the same outfit had the flare nuts in stock, which I couldn't find around town.

So is the banjo fitting refering to the collar/strap thing that goes around the cyllinder?

Jerry two bucks, see http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/R...Ntk=Keyword&Nty=1&Dn=0&D=WH1441&Dk=1&Dp=3&N=0, though I think the part description is off - but its probably right part, wrong description. NAP has the 3/16 tubing flare nuts also

http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/R...=Keyword&Nty=1&Dn=0&D=BK6413297&Dk=1&Dp=3&N=0

that's the part. make sure the tube nuts are brass, regular steel will rust.
