Hi members, Just an aussie here wondering if someone some where can help me with my problem. I am after a water pump repair kit and can not seem to get one here in australia or it looks like the world either. My housing seems to be stuffed and that is why i'd prefer a repair kit but if any one out there knows where I could get one or of an updated pump that will fit or a way around it you would really make an old aussie happy

Original kit was 388256, replaced by 389980. They are available here in U.S., but I don't know about Australia.

Hi there F_R I know the part number as i have been in touch with cowley marine which has 4 in stock but will not post over seas as they reckon its against evinrudes policy. I don't know how that is when evinrude went bankrupt in 2000. Can you tell me of other company's over there that i might get one please

Evinrude / Johnson brands were taken over by BRP back in 2001?-----Stopped marketing the Johnson brand after 2007 model year.----Evinrude ( BRP ) stopped building / marketing outboard motors in June 2020 -----They are still in the replacement parts business.----Hard to say what the contract between Crowley and BRP states.----Contact ----evinrudeparts.ca---See if they can help / ship the parts to you.----Should be easy I think.
