1977 evinrude 35 hp will start and run til just when you accellerate

I think I found my problem both my coils are cracked or have cracks, Ive had the carb apart 3 time so checked the coils, I filled the cracks with black gasket maker until I get new coils, wires looked good, comp 120lbs.

[h=2]1977 evinrude 35 hp will start and run til just when you accellerate.............[/h] If what you're saying means that when you give it throttle, the engine bogs and dies out.... that's caused by either a sticking timer base, the throttle butterflies opening too soon, or (and most likely) a restricted carburetor high speed jet..
