First post here so hopefully this is the right place. Little back story first.
I recently inherited a 1977 Thunderbird/Formula 20-cl that has been in a dry dock with the last reg year of 1995... So it's been sitting there for a while. They didn't pull out the drain plug and the cover had a couple rips in it so water built up inside. The lower half of the engine was under water up to the alternator. No rust or anything though but had some water in the oil when I looked at the dipstick.
So the question is besides draining all the fluids and lubing everything up on the engine what should I do when I do a run down of the engine? Going to replace the alternator and all the tubes, belts and filters etc.
Thanks!
