I have the 1979 version of this boat that I'm restoring. I currently have it gutted. Floor and transom wood are removed and I'll be redoing that in the Spring. As for the trolling motor, I decided just to do a transom mounted one. It isn't ideal, but it is way cheaper and simpler. I've seen some bow mounted ones where they run a board from the tip of the bow on a diagonal to one of the sides and then mount the motor on there. I might do that later, but for now the transom mount will do.
