Sounds like water in your fuel.
Are you adding clean oil to fresh clean fuel at the correct rate??
Or are you using old fuel?
Portable gas tank or built into the boat?

fuel was old.... shuda drained it but thought sea foam would take care of it.... oops... if id did suck water through the fuel into the engine would that make it die and then not start again??? if so then what do you suggest i do to fix the problem.... is it really simple or should i just take it to the shop and have them take a look at it.... i just got married and bought a house so i kinda cringe at the $80 per hour to work on it and if its something i can do myself then i would love to save the $$$$$$$$
