1977 OMC out drive Prop?

Dear Folks I have an 1977 OMc out drive on a 24ft. sea sundancer can anyone tell mewhat prop came with it in that year. were having troubles finding the right pitch to run and if we knew what it came with then that would answer a lot of problems thanks Dougk

your gonna have to be way more specific to get an answer, such as the engine in the boat (Hp CID etc). Was there a propeller on it before? Any Prop guy can match it up.

As James said, we at least need an engine size as a starting point, and previous prop size with RPM figures would be great info.

Iam sorry folks Iam new at this .its a 1977 ford 351 winsor and it has a 235 OMC outdrive the boat according to the sales brouchure weights 4500 pounds and came with hydrolic trim tabs we are using a 14/12 and we can only get 3800 rpm's out of her at 27mph, but I was told that it is to small for the application. Thanks for your help Doug-K
