1977 Starcraft SS 18' wiring question

I am reassembling my project boat and found a few wires unhooked. Anybody got an idea where they go? They come from the power tilt/trim. This boat has a Merc 140 I/O. There is also a 2 pin connector that doesn't have a mate. Any ideas or does anybody have a picture of the back of their instrument cluster?

This is not advice, no nothing about I/O's

But 34 years will CHANGE the color of wiring, my house ground looked light purple 32 years later?

Trim wires usually run from the controls to the trim motor.

Get a multimeter and have at it for continuity testing. Use some 12-16 gauge as a jumper to the probes.
