1977 Stringer seals...

I have a 1977 electric shift stringer and I need the part no. for the water pump kit. and the seals between the gearhead and exhaust housing? The large roundone that sits in the housing and the smaller washer shaped one that seals the verticle drive shaft area.
What do you recommend for grease? Also what do you recommend for the gearhead and lower unit oil? and where can I find it... I don't want to go to my local stealer umm... I mean dealer. Locals call it "Bend Over Marine" for a reason! LOL

Hey Randy:

Parts for the impeller/seals/ect. can be found HERE. Click on "Parts," select "Stern Drive" in the drop down and navigate to your unit.

Grease; I get the marine rated stuff at the auto parts store when I'm there ...

Lower unit lube must be Type C. You can find it HERE.
Upper unit lube can be your favorite flavor of the regular stuff. HERE.
