1977 SuperSport HIN tag

The HIN tag on the transom is hard to read because its been painted over. Is there another HIN tag on the boat somewhere?

Take some laquer remover to clear it It should be readable to C.. G or other boating agencys. For ID purposes ----- Pugetsound

On my 77 SS, there is a tag at the helm, on the side. Good luck.

I have the capacity plate, I'm looking for a the hull identification number that begins with STR.
