At first start up my 1978 merc 200hp does not expel any water from weep hole, when it gets warmed up it sputters a small amount out of hole, at full throttle has a nice steady stream. does this sound like it could be a bad or old poppet (relief) valve? It has a new impeller kit and two new thermostats installed at beginning of summer. Any ideas or suggestions?
