Well I got the new piston installed with one half of split bearing on rod. Now is where it is more troubling for me. Is there a trick to get the rod cap and the other half of the bearing installed. I can get the bearings to stay in place but it seems like the cap goes in **** eyed, and if I put it in straight it wont go in on the shaft.... Help :) I am almost there with completion.

It can be frustrating but with enough fidgeting the cap will go on. You may need to rotate the crankshaft a bit to make room. Be certain you do not displace and rollers and be certain the cap is oriented correctly. It mates with the rod and only goes on one way.
