I have a 1978 mercury 800 I purchased. The previous owner said he had changed the throttle cable. My problem is when I take off it bogs down and shuts off. If i lift the cold start lever to increase idle it takes off perfectly. I have rebuilt carbs, fuel pump,checked compression changed power pack, trigger, stator,coils plugs and rewired the entire motor. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks
