first of all hello to everyone at iboats i am currently trying to restore a cajun bass boat i have redone the decking already and now am getting to the wiring i have done quiet a bit of this on cars and at work(i build transformers and no not like the movie)i have started the rewire and have gotten to the power trim when i hook it up to the battery to test it the pump makes noise but no lift so i checked the fluid and it was empty so i filled it with motor trimmed up held up by transom saver again i tried to trim it up and down(after i removed transom saver)still nothing the trim motor is working to the best of my knowledge(i can hear it) but no lift. so if anyone can tell me if i need to rebulid or if there is anything else i can do to troubleshoot it would help

Manual should say, but you might need to bleed the air if it was totally empty. It'll help going forward.

thanks for the help i did bleed all the air out and it took a while, i just can understand how someone neglected this boat so much i mean im not the best but between the rewire and new deck i almost have a new one, luckily for me the transom and supports weren't bad,i haven't even had it in the water and i love it, also got new livewell pump going to install in morning.
