1978 Mercury 700 Spark Plug Wire Replacement

Another question on my old 1978 3 cyl 70 Mercury Outboard

While I have it apart I thought I would replace the spark plug wires. The work but are old and don't look so great.

I figured the coil end would just pull out. I pulled and it does not seem to come out. I tried all three thinking maybe one was just stuck. I did not want to over do it and break something. Any ideas on how these come out?
