Does anyone know what the proper routing is on the water distribution hoses that come off of the thermostats on this type of motor? Currently, the hoses run from the thermostats down to the poppet valve on the bottom starport side of the block. Is this correct? If so, how does the water released by the thermostats relieve itself thourgh the poppet valve? I'm thinking that the pressure of the water comming from the thermostats into the poppet valve must be great enough to push up on the bottom side of the black rubber diaphram causing the spring to compress and poppet valve to open in order for the water to release from t-stats. Would it be a bad idea to place a T in the distribution hose by the poppet valve and a T in the distribution hose connected to the Tell End and connect the two?
