1978 Sea Ray SRV 240 Manual needed

Was wondering if anyone had a copy of a 1978 SRV 240 manual. I am having a hard time finding any information on it.

Unfortunately boats don't have manuals. They have the brochure telling all the great things about the craft you just purchased but no manual. You need to google it or just ask what question you have. Most parts are all separate from the boat manufacturer, example motor may be Merc or Volvo.

I wrote down the wrong year and dont know how to change it. I have a 1978 Sea Ray SRV240. I wanted to see about a service manual or an owners manual. they do not have one that far back on the Sea Ray site. I

the owners manual has a generic picture of the boat indicating the pointy end is the bow, the end with the propeller is the stern, and there is a list of servicing dealers along with a bunch of safety stuff such as operate the blowers, etc.

along with the boat owners manual is usually the trailer literature, the radio literature and the engine operators manual.

what information specifically are you looking for?

any engine related information would be in the engine/drive service manual.

The cabin has a toilet area with a door. Right now it has a portable potty in it. I see on the side deck that it has caps that are labeled waste and water. I was wondering it they were built with waste tanks and we just need to put in the correct toilet and the correct plumbing

Could be. Typical toilet lasts about 7-10 years. Your boat is 46 years old

The toilet was probably replaced a few times, and the waste tank is probably in need of replacement
