1978 thunderbolt 110 9.8 HP charging system.

does anyone know how to hook this rectifier up to my battery to charge it? it is my kicker but i figure i might as well harness the power. The stator wires give me a good buzz while the motor is running also. there is no crack in the wire. and the coating looks satisfactory. im not sure if this is common?

Does your 9.8 have a charging coil. Unless its an E model (electric start) they would not
