Planning to launch my new/old bass boat I just bought this winter. Was prepping her up today by putting in the batteries and testing her using water muffs. First question is, how tight are the muffs supposed to be? Tight enough so that the water doesn't exit through the muffs but instead through the pee holes?
Anyways, I ran the motor for about 2 min and the constant beep alarm came on. I turn her off right away and everytime I key on now, I get the constant beep.
I know this is the overheat alarm...the motor is warm/hot to touch. Have I done any permanent damage by running her for 2 min without the muffs being on tightly?
