I took the boat out today after rebuilding the fuel pump, replacing the power pack, and coils.
First time out. It ran good at all speeds except top speed it acted like it was shutting off, I pumped the bulb a couple of times and it picked right back up. If I turned down the throttle just a very little it wouldn't do that. Smoked some white smoke and had some black residue at the exhaust ports. Had water coming out of the pee hole and no overheating. I ran it about 3 hours at all speeds.
I suspect that I still might have to replace the fuel pump. What is your view.
