1979 70hp evinrude bogging

Ive got an 70 hp evinrude that is bogging when i take off i can choke it and it planes. after it planes it will run great when u stop u have to choke it again.I have rebuilt carbs 3 times took out the low speed jets each time . Put 3 fuel pumps on . ran about 30 compression checks on it compression is 118 120 122. Put new gas lines and still the same.today i notice smoke coming out of the top carb . Im about ready to cut it off the boat. THANKS FOR ANY HELP

that motor has 3 jets in each carb. they have to be remove and cleaned. low speed, intermediate, high speed. you are missing the intermediate when cleaning.

read carb cleaning and rebuild in TOP SECRET FILE.

thanks so much im going to pull them back off tomorrow. I just put a kit in them do i need to replace gaskets or are they ok

took carbs off today put 3 new kits in them. took all 3 jets out of them blew air threw them.still the same thing .it will idle perfect ill give it gas about 1/2 throttle it will start to bogg and go dead if i dont choke it .when i choke it it will plane and run all day

is the fuel tank venting properly?

choking it still shows a fuel delivery problem. it is not getting enough fuel. have you tried, synching the carbs, then doing a link n sinc, which adjust the timing and carbs so that they work together at the proper time. link n sinc, is covered only in the OEM service manual.

i no that the carbs are sync together but i have not did a sync and lync.yeah i have tried 2 different tanks ... could this be a read problem ?

went today and bought another set of carbs and its doing the exact samething .The shop that i got them from said that there where just rebuilt..any advice
