i need a mercury part number for the piece that connects the throttle linkage to the distributor on my 1979 chrysler 115 hp. i have found all other parts except this one. its the one that screws into the top of the belt driven distributor and has a screw going to a rod that connects the throttle to adjust the timing.

Re: 1979 Chrysler 115 hp distibutor question

The same plastic part and adjusting screw was used on all three and four cylinder chrysler and Force engines. Just another example of not changing a part that works to keep prices lower.

I don't knoe the psrt number but id you look up ignition parts for any three or four cylinder Force up to about 1992, then it will be the same. You can also most likely buy a new one at franzmarine@aol.com.
