I have a '79 Chrysler 20hp outboard, pull start, tiller steered. I can get the engine started and it runs good if the choke is barely open and the gas is wide open. If I throttle back to slow it down it dies out every time. I have looked at the points and I have new plugs. I have checked it over the best I know how. Everything appears to be clean and in good working condition. Any suggestions?
