1979 Donzi

Does any one know anything about these good /bad It has a 468 chevy and huge out drive ,bigger than bravo with a counter clockwise rotating prop,heard something about a trs oudrive? . Just getting into boats but I am a hotrodder and don't know too much about them its a 21' hornet looks like a fun boat to ski ,and cruise around with ---thanks

KM - You will probably get more info on the outdrive if you post this in the I/O section.<br /><br />As to the Donzi - Here in south Florida they are known as one of the better boats for those who want to go zippin up and down off Miami Beach at 60 mph.

I have had the pleasure to of fishing from one of those 30something twin outboard faster than you care to go rockets and it seemed well put together running 55 or 60 in a mild chop. A fellow down the dock from us had an older Donzi with a bad case of blisters, but that can happen to any fiberglass boat that sits in the water too long. Have it surveyed!
