Does anyone know if the gear set (Forward, Reverse, Clutch Dog, and Pinion) for the lower unit is interchangeable with any other year 35 horse? I bought a set for a 60 horse by mistake (took someones word for it without checking), and paid $300. I have started looking for the right gear set, and CANNOT find it in a set. If I buy all the parts individually, it will cost me alomost $700!!! :^ Please help, if you can. I would greatly appreciate it. This is my first boat, and dont have the money to take it to someone for $1,200 plus. I know I can put it back together, if I can find the parts.
