Model 4932D. My Seloc manual says it has a flywheel magneto ignition system, but I can see that the coils are mounted externally. There is also a large black box thing mounted high on the back of the power head. It isn't idling as smoothly as I would like, and I just rebuilt the carb. Plan to replace the L77JJ4 plugs if I can find some today, but they look pretty clean. Don't want to pull the flywheel if there are no points to adjust. This is a recently acquired project I have not run prior to the carb work. Does this thing have points? Any suggestions on further tuning?

PARTS LIST

Plugs now L77JC4 gapped 0.030"

See why they say Seloc manuals are good for standing your coffee cup on while you use the OEM manual

Thanks so much Vic! I did track down some L77JC4's at Autozone, even though their website and Champions' said they were not available. Glad you provided the gap, too. Will try them tonight or tomorrow. Where does one get OEM manuals on a hobbyist's budget?

OEM manuals do not come cheap Ken Cook is the usually quoted source.

http://www.outboardbooks.com/

I have a 6HP yachtwin E6SLCRM (1984) The manual for that one is $120.. Going to need some major problem to persuade me to buy it at that price!

Re the plugs . surprised you have difficulty with that number. maybe everyone now uses QL77JC4 which are the inductively suppressed version.

QL86C (or L86C) also on some lists
