Just inherited a 23' Anacapri w/1979 225 Johnson O/B. Vessel is mint, rebuilt....can the motor be rebuilt and is it cost effective???? (Model# VJ2255PLESS Serial# G02566515)
BOHICA.... That engine is not a 1979. It is a 1990 model. Anything can be rebuilt. Whether or not it's cost effective will is a judgement call you'll have to make.
