When we run this engine it will run about half throttle at 2200 rpm.Then it acts like there is no fuel,it will kill the engine if you dont throttle back.But when idleing you can rev it to 5000 rpm.What i would like to know is what to check? We have cleaned carbs. and had to replace the switchbox.The idle mixture screws are 1 1/2 turns.What should i check to get my engine to run at full throttle?Would the stator be going out when going past half throttle?If so how can i test the stator?Please email me any info to wcausey@mountain.net
