My boat has been sitting for a year. Tried to start battery has power but I get nothing? Where should I start my trouble shoot? Do I need to have a brand new battery with a full charge?
Thanks for any help you can give!!!

yes, make sure the battery is fully charged and ALL connections are clean and tight, even the ground(s) on the engine

No but you do need a fully charged good battery. Pull the battery out and take it to an auto parts store (even Walmart) and have it load tested. then take dub's advice.

A digital mult meter will help you figure out where power is and is not, AND how much. You can score one cheap now a days. Set it to AC volts and save yourself some grief. It will be a very important tool in the box.
